Trek to Kedar Tal Lake in Uttarakhand is an out of the world experience. Trekking to Kedar tal is on an isolated shepherd trail (more of a pilgrim trail) as one go about hiking to this lonely lake. Trekking this trek is a straining experience, as the trekking team goes about exploring this lonely isolated lake in the laps Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The trail is quite narrow at some of the places with steep fall on one side and mountain wall on the other. Also, the ascent is very steep and at time the gradient is a leg-killer.
The Kedar Tal lake trek begins from Gangotri (road head) and may take 4-days of total trekking. A team of expert mountaineers is much recommended if you want to attempt Kedar Tal lake trek.
